COVID-19 is making its impact felt globally. And during this time of immense challenge, frontline workers everywhere are struggling to help the sick, even as they put their own health at risk. Others are working hard behind the scenes to restore business continuity and have to make tough decisions about how to best connect teams so people can stay safe working remotely.

We wanted to share our sincere appreciation for everyone fighting COVID-19. And to begin with, we’re offering our recently released PDF.js Express free to institutions and companies working to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and helping those affected.

Developers can leverage PDF.js Express to quickly embed PDF viewing, annotating, form-filling, and signing within any web application. Check out the documentation to learn more about how PDF.js Express supports capabilities such as real-time collaboration on documents via document chat.

For inspiration on how PDF.js Express can be useful:

  • Support medical staff with access to PDF-based critical health information remotely through any device.
  • Let doctors, nurses, and caregivers collaborate in real time on the web. Multiple users can simultaneously highlight text, circle content, add notes and reply to comment threads directly in the browser.
  • Collect critical health information from citizens or healthcare workers via PDF forms.

Finally, we wanted to offer our sincerest condolences and support to anyone who has lost a loved one or had their own health threatened, and to businesses who have had to lay off workers and shutter their doors due to COVID-19. Our hearts and minds are with you.

Please get in touch with us if you’re interested in PDF.js Express for free and would like to apply.
